Sioux Falls Food Coop is a consumer-owned cooperative business that is managed by the people who shop with us. We pride ourselves on being the best place in Sioux Falls to find local produce and products. Currently, we looking for a full-time Wellness Specialist to join our team!

The Wellness Specialist is responsible to ensure selection, purchasing, receiving, stocking, and pricing of all Supplements, Bodycare, and General Merchandise products, under the approval of the Front-End Manager, to meet financial objectives for sales, margin, inventory, in compliance with the Co-op established product policy. All Co-op staff are responsible for providing welcoming, friendly, and helpful customer service to all shoppers and co-workers in accordance with our organizational goals and programs.

We are looking for somebody with a passion for overall wellness and the following experience:

• 1-2 years experience as a department buyer.
• 1-2 years experience in a retail environment, preferably in a co-op or natural food store.
• Purchasing and merchandising experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current trends in the natural food and/or wellness industries

Starting rate of pay: $18-$21/hour
