Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an open role in our Oak Creek, WI location.   As a Fire Protection Suppression Manager, you will thoroughly understand, support and expand our Fire Suppression business by providing exceptional customer service for existing and potential new customers, and lead training and development efforts for your team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Foster growth by understanding and implementing strategies within our existing business and through extended offerings.
  • Develop team by providing and tracking technical training and keeping all up to date on NFPA codes
  • Support and promote our safety policies and practices.
  • Ensure all company, customer and project policies, procedures, standards, licenses/certifications, etc., are adhered to.
  • Maintain effective relationships with existing customers.
  • Actively seek new relationships and opportunities by working with our sales team.
  • Estimate, propose, and execute service/inspection opportunities.
  • Understand technical aspects of fire suppression practices and equipment, and ensure inspections and work are being performed at the highest level of quality. 
  • Manage extinguisher shop and equipment and field leaders. 
  • Understand and take responsibility for contract management to ensure a successful outcome for customers and the company.
  • Be a “Team Player” that is willing to help anyone who may need assistance.
  • Be “hands-on” with inspection or repairs if required.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and communication skills are required
  • Experience in sales or customer service
  • Fire Protection experience
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to prioritize based on current project demands
  • Must be dependable and reliable with ability to complete tasks without need for follow-up
  • Good computer and keyboarding skills in various computer programs (i.e. Excel, Power Point)
  • General knowledge of office practices/procedures and office equipment
  • Ability to learn proprietary software
  • Work in a fast-paced service environment
  • Due to the nature of the customer interactions, this is primarily an office-based position.

Specific Requirements: 

  • High school diploma
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (copier/printer, etc.)
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time
  • Open cube office work environment, noise level – quiet to moderate
