Inspect selected private market housing units for participation in the Housing Voucher Programs. Inspects units for compliance with building and construction codes, building plans and city regulations

Assesses the physical condition of sites, units, building systems and exteriors; records/report deficiencies and health/safety issues; notifies landlords and clients of inspection failures

Enter data into computer systems, maintain inspection records and associated filing systems

Collects and summarizes data and generates periodic reports

Perform administrative duties such as data entry, preparing and processing various documents and maintaining files

Explain the nature of DHA programs, procedures and services to clients while maintaining absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, client records and DHA information

Enthusiastically promote the President/CEO’s priorities for the operations of DHA
