Purpose:

Responsible for assisting with the implementation of standard job pricing at the dealership and building and maintaining the service pricing database for all locations.  Manages and implements the Company’s strategic plans relating to Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Support Plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing standardized job pricing processes that maximize service profitability.
  • Establish and maintain standard job pricing database in the dealer system to include labor times, required parts, and labor steps, and service report for each job.
  • Review and adopt John Deere developed standard jobs on a regular basis.
  • Evaluate and prioritize feedback from Service Depts to implement new and amended standard jobs.
  • Coordinate and conduct standard job pricing training throughout the company as needed.
  • Track and report on progress of implementing standard job pricing at all locations.
  • Monitor Service Department standard job performance and effectiveness for profitability and technician efficiency improvements.
  • Execute labor rate changes on any affected standard job pricing files.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement and maintain an efficient inspection and estimate process leveraging standardized jobs database.
  • Provide support and manage the Coastline preventive maintenance programs.
  • Create custom support and maintenance agreements and proposal forms.
  • Coordinate and conduct training through the company to build and execute maintenance plans.
  • Manage the creation and disposition of Coastline rental fleet maintenance plans.
  • Attends training sessions as needed.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • 1+ years experience in Service Department operations.
  • Ability to use the service software in dealer business system and other programs specific to the position.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
  • Attention to detail.
