The pay scale for this position is $40000 - $60000 / year

Specific Job Duties:

  • Comply with all safety standards, policies, and procedures
  • Operate equipment such as backhoe, skid loader, mini excavator
  • Maintain a clean work area, comply with housekeeping requirements
  • Assist Electricians with installation of pvc and grs conduit
  • Install manholes and in-ground pull boxes
  • Ability to supervise 1-2 helpers
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
  • Perform other job site duties as needed when not operating equipment
  • Layout and install Light poles
  • Pour and finish concrete pole bases and pads for transformers, generators, and other electrical equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and frequently carry 40 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to lift tools, pipe, and fixtures overhead
  • Ability to work at heights including climbing on ladders, scaffolding and staircases
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as bend, crouch, kneel and work in small spaces
  • Must be able to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects

 Other Requirements:

  • Punctual and regular attendance
  • Ability to work on a team and interact with people
  • Ability to pass company equipment operator tests
  • Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure
  • Must have the ability to travel to job sites
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Valid commercial driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
