Job Summary:
As an Outside Sales Representative, your core responsibilities will include lead generation, fostering and nurturing relationships with inspection clients, and spearheading sales expansion in collaboration with the branch office. Serving as the ambassador of our company, you'll champion our comprehensive suite of inspections while delivering top-notch customer service to surpass sales benchmarks.
Candidates will benefit from our team's extensive technical knowledge, aiding in their understanding of the Fire Protection and Security industry. While prior industry experience is beneficial, it's not mandatory. Instead, we prioritize candidates who excel in cultivating customer-facing relationships and thrive in fast paced team environments. This position centers on cultivating new client relationships and facilitating the seamless onboarding of new customers in the Kenosha, Racine and Wallworth counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the promotion of mandatory fire sprinkler, fire alarm, emergency lighting and fire extinguisher inspections.
- Take a proactive approach to prospecting and lead generation by leveraging cold calling, networking, and referrals to identify new opportunities.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Execute comprehensive site surveys, negotiate inspection agreements, and secure signed customer contracts to drive inspection business
- Collaborate with the Corporate Inspection Sales Leader (Team Lead) and branch office to develop effective sales strategies, establish ambitious goals, and attain revenue and margin targets.
- Get involved with industry relevant groups and events to build further connections within the
- Become aware of industry trends, market shifts, and competitor movements to capitalize on emerging business prospects and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and review sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation in collaboration with Corporate Inspection Sales Leader and branch
- Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to continually enhance industry knowledge and refine sales
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence customers at all levels.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team while managing time efficiently.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- High school diploma / GED required, degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
