WHAT WE’RE OFFERING

Build invaluable job experience in a flexible and student-friendly position!
United Communication is seeking students who will work with our marketing department on an as-needed basis for community events. There is no set schedule, students will be notified via text and allowed to accept the events based upon their availability.  Students must be enrolled and attending full-time in high school or college, and accept at least one event per rolling six months to remain active.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.

  • Staff booths at various events such as Community Fairs 
  • Assist with neighborhood events such as a pizza party, fish fry, etc.
  • Placement of door hangers
  • Participate in other exciting marketing activities as needed to generate interest in United’s services

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full-time high school or college student, 16 years or older
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive to different event locations
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
  • Must have at least $100,000 in auto/personal insurance
    Note: Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a release form for the drug screen, MVR check, and to work in the program
