Are you mechanically inclined with a knack for precision? Join our team as a Field Service Assistant! As a vital member of our service team, you'll collaborate closely with our Service Director to execute top-notch synthetic turf repairs and installations across various athletic facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Execute synthetic turf repairs and installations under the guidance of the Service Director
- Perform tasks including but not limited to: cutting and removing existing turf, meticulous cleaning of the area, precise cutting and placement of new turf, adhesive application, infill addition, turf brushing, and thorough cleanup
- Assist in equipment and tool maintenance and repair
- Job locations are generally within one-day travel distances, but availability for occasional extended trips in LA, TX, AR and MS is required as needed.
Schedule:
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm (schedule may vary due to weather and field availability). When not working on field service repairs, assist with various duties as needed at our St. Gabriel shop.
Qualifications:
-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-Good organizational abilities with acute attention to detail
-Proficient time management skills to ensure efficient project completion
-Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and dedication to hard work
Requirements and Education:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, must be able to use skill saws, reciprocating saws, drills, turf brushes, carpet blades and other miscellaneous small tools
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
