Job Summary

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for profitable growth for the assigned segment and territory including developing assigned accounts and prospecting for new business. Salary plus commission ranges $50K-$150K

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers at multiple levels of organization.
  • Develop key account plans to meet or exceed strategic territory targets.
  • Read and interpret customer drawings to identify opportunities to recommend wear solutions through a consultative sale approach.
  • Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of quotation, questions, decision and initial production shipments.
  • Coordinate and organize visits to plants and technical sites to ensure that customer needs and requirements are being met.
  • Act as the primary point person to develop growth strategies for assigned accounts and incremental opportunities.
  • Display team player behaviors with ability to build productive business relationships with hourly employees, leaders, and peers (CSS, Engineering, Production)
  • Proactively report to internal stakeholders on performance versus target, pipeline health, successes, and further opportunities.
  • Act as liaison between Customer and Wearcon.
  • Proactively provide pertinent information to CSS team members to ensure accurate, profitable quotes
  • Leverage CRM to craft strategies, gain insights, and grow business.
  • Travel within United States up 60% of the time.

  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Experience in CRM a plus

 Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years industrial sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in related field a plus
  • Knowledge or exposure to Cement, Agriculture, Steel, Power, and/or Construction a plus
  • Prior military service members welcome

PHYSICAL: Must be able to climb ladders, go up and down stairs, drive long distances

 

CONDITIONS: Primarily calling on customers in an industrial environment

 

WORK HOURS: Primarily M-F 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
