Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable invoices out of our Corporate Office in New Hampton, IA. The ideal candidate is a detail and deadline-oriented individual who excels in the technical and functional aspects of accounts payable with a strong background in Microsoft Excel. This is a full-time position that reports to the Accounts Payable Lead and has no supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions:
- Understand general ledger coding structures and job costing
- Knowledge of state sales tax and use tax
- Communicate with vendors and managers in a professional and confidential manner
- Scan, attach, and validate invoices
- Code and process invoices
- Meet deadlines and complete multiple tasks promptly
Position Requirements:
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Two-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Self-directed and motivated to exceed expectations
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work well within a team and also independently
- Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy
