We are currently accepting applications for a Project Manager Assistant wanting to advance their career. The ideal candidate will be well organized, great at time management, and detail oriented.
This is a safety sensitive position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Petty Cash Requests/Check Requests.
- Order and pick up plans and specs for PMs. Make plan copies as requested.
- Order office supplies for PMs as needed.
- Research and compile bidders list for the estimate.
- Update and keep up with Bid Board.
- Take care of all office faxes, copies, scans, and correspondence for PMs. Distribute incoming faxes.
- Pick up bonds and run errands as needed.
- Bid Bonds / Maintenance Bonds / Insurance
- Prepare bid documents prior to bid date.
- Keep up with designated PM’s schedules.
- Communication is the key to success in this position.
- Set up billing files (client & sub) for designated PM.
- Set up schedule of values in billings folder.
- Add change orders to schedule of values when they come in.
- Correspond with subcontractors and customers on jobs for designated PM.
- Send W-9s and Certificates of Insurance to customers as needed.
- Create subcontracts.
- Prepare all Lien Waivers, Warranty letters, and closeout documents for jobs as needed.
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience, training, and/or education.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Scheduling experience.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Work environment is consistent of an office and facility with construction equipment inventory and repair/service shop and may also include construction job site.
- Occasional lifting may be required up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.
Job Type: Full-Time Hourly, starting at $17, DOE
