Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an Employee Engagement Specialist.

Based out of the Spartanburg headquarters, the Employee Engagement Specialist drives engagement and morale initiatives for all of Morgan Corp, including the field and regional offices. This position maintains a pulse on the organization and then develops creative approaches to driving engagement and retention in the field and regional offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a pulse on the organization through site visits, pulse checks, engagement surveys, performance reviews, feedback surveys, etc. Determine gaps in engagement and uses creative solutions to propose, implement and deliver measurable initiatives to increase engagement/retention, and decrease turnover.
  • Has continuous oversight into the company’s engagement metrics, such as turnover and retention. Uses analytics to understand trends and make decisions.
  • Maintains a pulse on industry best practices for engagement, culture, and DE&I.
  • Oversees service and recognition award programs, as well as gifts, events, celebrations, etc. Oversees HR programs and policies related to recognition, reimbursements, referrals, or education including the Scholarship Program and the Tuition Reimbursement Program.
  • Carries out exit interviews with the HR team to better understand turnover.
  • Manages weekly Orientations at the Spartanburg Headquarters.
  • While championing engagement at all regional offices, specifically supports activities in the headquarters by participating in the Morale Committee.
  • Owns swag inventory for the headquarters. Works with office managers to purchase additional swag, as necessary.
  • Oversees Field annual performance reviews by ensuring quality and timely completion. Analyze responses for insight and trends.
  • Support the HR Director with annual performance review for the office team. Reviews year end performance review responses for insight and trends.
  • Provides support to the HR team on an as needed basis. For example, open enrollments, employee relations, employee life cycle, etc.

Requirements:

  • Monthly travel requirement to job sites and regional offices in the Southeast.
  • Use creativity to develop new approaches.
  • Manages project from start to finish, including setting and meeting predetermined milestones.
  • Use data to recognize trends, make decisions and recommend solutions.
  • Develop metrics to determine ROI and success of engagement initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of experience in HR or related employee experience role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and finger, grasp, reach with hands and arms, see, speak, and hear. Frequently stand and walk. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Some work is performed in an office environment, while other work may be performed at constructions job sites.
