JL Schwieters Building Supply Construction, Inc, is a complete component/pre-fab manufacturer and full building supply center. We manufacture roof and floor trusses, wall panels, stairs, fireplace/entertainment centers and many other pre-fab components. Our labor division performs the field install of these products. 

We are looking to add an experienced Lumber Material Estimator to our team!  Do you currently work as a wood material estimator?  If yes, this is the position for you...Do you currently work in a lumberyard, we have the job for you...

This individual will be proficient in Microsoft Office w/ advanced Excel experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Great organizational skills and time management with the ability to multitask and run multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining thoroughness and precision.

  • Understanding of the construction process
  • Knowledge of building material products
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints in an architectural related industry is preferred
  • Wood frame construction is highly preferred
  • On-screen estimating, Plan Swift, Auto CAD is a plus
  • Ability to work in a team setting on a daily basis.

Minimum physical demands include sitting for extended periods of time, cubicle setting.

Minimum 2-year Associate degree is required or relative wood frame estimating experience.

Monday - Friday 7-4pm in Hugo, MN.

Salary Range $65,000+ DOQ

$1,000 Sign on Bonus
