Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Alignment Manager to provide a balance of technical and people skills to foster trusting relationships with clients that ensure the organization’s best interests are front and center with the 46Solutions.
The TAM is not sales-driven and proactively looks out for the best IT solutions for the client. The ideal TAM will come to have an intimate knowledge of our client’s IT environment. They will provide cost and time saving enhancements to our clients. Proactive service, maintenance and planning are essential to this role. The TAM will be the technical lead for these services to our clients.
Some job duties include (but are not limited to):
- Perform Onsite Standards and Alignment Reviews.
- Maintain, update, and phase out assigned Clients Standards templates as technology or a client environment changes.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of assigned clients’ environments.
- Identify client technical risk and collaborate with internal teams appropriately.
- Develop both Business and Technical acumen with key contacts at Client sites as needed
- Maintain high positive client and user satisfaction and relationships.
- Implement, participate, and promote Quality Assurance (QA) objectives, processes and procedures of the Company
- Assist in the training, mentoring and development of internal staff
- Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position..
- Be responsible for upholding best practices and reporting recommendations to the vCIO.
- Create technology and budgetary roadmaps for clients
- Other duties as assigned
- Some travel required
- Occasional after-hour response from home or return to office (nights and weekends) is also required. Employee will need to be within a reasonable distance to the Lexington office.

Qualifications
- Aptitude and Appetite to excel as a long-term member of our team
- Effective communication skills via phone and email
- Excellent client service skills
- Desire to grow and learn new skills and technologies
- Proven work experience as a Project Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Industry certifications a plus
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
