We are looking for a dynamic and experienced door-to-door salesman who can sell Backyard Resorts to homeowners for our high-end landscaping company. If you are a talented salesman looking for a flexible position with a buildable pay plan, we want you on our team!
Position Summary
This job involves canvassing door-to-door in high end neighborhoods to set appointments for our architects with potential customers. The ideal candidate will be successful at understanding when a potential client is a good fit for Alderwood and will be able to help homeowners envision the dream backyard resort that we can provide. You must have a general understanding of business functions, be personable and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to partner with our firm.
If chosen, you would be working with Alderwood Landscaping, a multi-award winning and nationally featured landscape architecture firm based in Spokane and Bellevue. Part-time seasonal position (up to 30 hrs) March-November.
Sales Territory to include: Spokane County, Mead, Liberty Lake, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Spokane Valley
Requirements
- Door-to-door canvassing experience
- Proven track record for setting appointments
- Personable, social personality who loves to meet new people
- Skilled in persuasion and solution selling
- Builds strong, interpersonal relationships
- Entrepreneurial, independent, and detail oriented
- Superior time management and day tracking skills
- Adept at using technology, software systems, and data entry
- Ability to remain positive and take rejections
- Follows direction well
- Reliable transportation (will include mileage reimbursement)
- Ability to walk up to 3 miles per day
Preferred
- Microsoft Office experience – Word, Excel, Power Point
- Landscape architecture and/or construction knowledge
Compensation & Other Information
Position pays $17/hr.
Commission for each appointment set
Commission for each construction job resulting from appointment set
