Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Accounting and IT Team. Oversee Administrative Assistants for billing purposes. Hold monthly or quarterly meetings with team members to ensure efficiency.
  • Oversee the company’s accounting systems including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost, and as a backup for payroll entry and accounts. Accounts to be reconciled monthly.
  • Prepare pre-tax monthly financial statements: income and balance statements for the corporation and income statements for the departments. Review these statements and any supporting documents with the Senior Leadership team.
  • Prepare and finalize annual sales and overhead budgets with Senior leadership team.
  • Review and reconcile bank statements, assist in cash management control and projection, and enhance overall banking relationships.

Requirements for VP of Finance:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance. Construction experience is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with financial planning and analysis, cash management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency with finance and accounting systems and software. Foundation experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements for Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

  • MBA, MS in Finance, or related field required.
  • 10 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 5 years’ experience as a CFO. Construction experience is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with financial planning and analysis, cash management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency with finance and accounting systems and software. Foundation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
