POSITION:
Canyon State Electric is hiring electrical trade summer interns to support our electrical projects, gain hands-on experience with electrical prefabrication, and learn from experienced mentors. Candidates will progress through hands-on training and coursework, developing essential skills for a successful career in the electrical trade through our apprenticeship program.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Paid hands-on work and prefabrication experience
- Classroom-based knowledge of electrical principles and applications
- All in-house training for Safety and CPR-First Aid
Hourly Pay: $17 per hour.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires daily on-site attendance
- Knowledge of the construction process
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Able to complete a full day’s assignments involving one or more of the following: bending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling.
- Strong time management skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be enrolled in a High School or Equivalent Program
- Prior electrical trade education **preferred
