Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an Estimator. This individual will perform all pre-bid services by development and preparation of cost estimates for construction projects or services as assigned. They will attend all proposed project site visits and assessments and be responsible for verifying bid documents for review and timely completion. Must be able to handle the technical side of the bid from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide and / or coordinate full estimating services on large, complex heavy civil / mechanical and electrical construction projects for bid-build / design-build / Engineer, Procure and Construct projects.
- Develop project estimates requiring bid information.
- Prepare the estimates to ensure all factors are properly considered, priced, and included in the estimate summary.
- Other duties will include performing site visits, investigations, job cost projections/audits and constructability studies.
- Perform other duties as needed
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related degree preferred
- Broad knowledge and ability to understand project scheduling, cost control, specifications, and engineering drawings
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Research services for methods, costs and construction techniques
- Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA Requirements is preferred
Must be willing to travel and / or potentially relocate as the job requires.
