Job overview

As a Concrete Superintendent at CL Construction, you will be responsible for closely collaborating with concrete foremen, crews, customers and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met while meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for the Concrete Team, customers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee daily work progress, assist as needed, monitor budgets, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and interpret project prints, verify specifications compliance, and conduct site walks to monitor project quality.
• Prioritize safety as a core value, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fostering a safe work environment.
• Develop team members through training, mentorship, and delegation of tasks.
• Manage performance, behavior, attendance, and cleanliness of job sites.

Qualifications

• Possess at least five years of concrete industry experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Proficient in budgeting, timeline management, and labor oversight.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
• Comfortable with physical demands of on-site work, including exposure to various environmental conditions and heights.
