Job overview

 

As a Pipe Welder at CL Construction, you will be responsible for the layout, fabrication, installation and maintenance of piping systems, including the installation of valves and related equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Layout and fabrication of new and replacement piping systems

• Installation of valves and related piping equipment

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance in conformance with established standards

• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and work procedures

• Provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery

 

Qualifications

 

• 2+ years of experience in Industrial Pipe Welding, and Repairs

• 6-G Certification required

• 1-2 years of education in industrial maintenance technologies preferred

• Working knowledge of blueprint reading and ability to interpret isometric diagrams

• Certification or ability to be certified to B31.1 Pipe Welding Code and 6-G in stainless steel

• Proficient in using welding equipment such as electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment

• Ability to read and decipher engineering drawings and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
