Richard Design Services (RDS) is currently seeking experienced Level II & III Project Engineers.


Position Summary
We are seeking skilled and motivated Mid-Level / Senior-Level Project Engineers to be part of our team at our Houston Westchase office.  The position will report to our Houston Office General Manager.


Job Description
•    Lead in the development of a wide range of projects (Front End Studies, Front End Engineering Development and Detailed Engineering).
•    Skilled in the review and evaluation of project controls metrics & deliverables which include but are not limited to progress reports, cost reports and forecasts, manpower plans and forecasts, cash flow plans and forecasts, schedules, etc.   In conjunction with the project controls team, providing real time insight to the team members and project stakeholders.
•    Experienced with estimates and the evaluation of estimates.
•    Focused on EPC project delivery.  Skilled in project workflow, critical interfaces, project drivers, change management, project risk mitigation, etc.
•    Strong leadership, leadership and communication skills.   Providing clear expectations and leading project lead designers and engineers.
•    Projects may range from small capital projects to major capital projects.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
•    Minimum years of experience: 
     Project Engineer I - 5+ years           
     Project Engineer II - 10+ years 
     Project Engineer III - 15+ years
•    Bachelor’s Degree 
•    Strong Leadership, Teambuilding and Communication Skills
•    Strong Presentation Skills
•    Strong Client Relationship Skills
•    Strong and Diverse Technical Background
•    Proficient computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.


Work Environment
•    This position primarily is performed from RICHARD's office located in Houston, TX, but may be posted temporarily on project sites, when required. Field site visits may be required regularly. The work will mostly take place in an office setting, and the employee will need to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and through email. The employee should be physically able to carry out the required tasks. They may need to visit Client facilities, so it's important that the employee is in good physical health in order to travel, conduct field assessments, attend meetings at various locations, and perform other duties as required.
