Position Overview

This position is on project sites in Southern California. You will be part of a project team working together with the Project Manager, VP of Construction and Superintendent. You will be an integral part of the SPC project team that consistently delivers projects on time, on budget, and strives to exceed client expectations.

As a Field Workforce, you will perform a variety of tasks to support construction projects, including site preparation, material handling, and assisting skilled tradespeople. Your responsibilities will include preparing work areas, carrying and positioning materials, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is a reliable and motivated team player with a strong commitment and attention to detail, ability to follow instruction and safety protocols.


Key Qualifications

  • Professionally represent SPC.
  • Proven track record of consistently producing quality work and meeting deadlines on high end commercial construction projects
  • Promote positive subcontractor relationships by treating them fairly and professionally
  • Proven track record of consistently producing quality work and meeting deadlines on high end commercial construction projects
  • Familiar with working in occupied multi floor buildings or multi building campus environments with stringent landlord guidelines for construction

Description

This position is on project sites in Southern California. You will be part of a project team working together with the Project Superintendent and VP of Construction. You will be an integral part of the SPC project team that consistently delivers projects on time, on budget, and strives to exceed client expectations. SPC is looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, takes directions well, task oriented and looks out for the best interest of the Company. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines.

Education/Experience

  • 2+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor with experience in the following types of projects:
    • Tenant Improvements
    • Commercial Interior Construction
    • Commercial Building Renovation
    • High Rise Interiors
