Job Responsibilities

  1. Interact with Project Construction team ( GC, Owner, Arch Eng, etc)
  2. Ensure that projects meet proper deadlines and customer expectations.
  3. Estimate costs for projects and changes to existing projects
  4. Contact vendors to purchase the necessary materials and expedite timely delivery. Monitor product delivery status.
  5. Prepare Subcontract Agreements ( i.e., Fire Alarm, Lightning Protection, etc.)
  6. Process required project documentation and submit all company-required reports (Projected Costs, etc.) in a timely manner.
  7. Interact with project staff for subcontract issues, billing issues, pricing issues, schedule matters.
  8. Prepare Monthly Contract billings & be engaged in the collection process( Use of Textura, etc)
  9. Expediate Job Closeout.
  10. Review Specifications, Drawings & the Subcontract to fully understand the scope of work.
  11. Interact with customers, suppliers, subcontractors to obtain accurate information
  12. Perform other tasks as requested.

Position Requirements

  • Strong Math, Cognitive & Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of Commercial Electrical Components & Applications ( Light Fixtures, Panelboards, Receptacles, etc.)
  • Read & Understand Blueprints ( Arch. Structural. Mech., Electrical ) Use of Bluebeam, Procore, etc. 
  • Accubid Estimating Software. Estimating experience
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Office 365
  • Five (5) years or more experience in the commercial electrical construction industry.
