Key Responsibilities:
- Jobsite Management:
- Plan, organize, schedule, and monitor all work activities on the site.
- Collaborate closely with trade superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones.
- Daily Activities:
- Handle day-to-day tasks, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety documentation, quality oversight, cost controls, resource management, and material procurement.
- Cultivate effective relationships with clients and the design team.
- Reporting and Safety:
- Provide daily updates to the Project Manager.
- Foster a positive, healthy safety culture and accident-free environment on the project site.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor field operations, ensuring adherence to best practices and procedures.
- Conduct thorough reviews of drawings, specifications, subcontracts, shop drawings, and submittals before each work phase. Collaborate with the PM to prepare the “Preparatory Planning Worksheet.”
- Preparatory Meetings:
- Hold preparatory meetings with subcontractors and trade superintendents before work begins on-site. Set clear expectations for quality and safety during these sessions.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve any issues that could impact project delivery, such as budget, safety, quality, or schedule concerns.
Qualifications:
- A two- or four-year degree is preferred, along with 2 - 5 years of construction experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective relationship management skills, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, especially in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Initiative and follow-through are essential.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and Primavera SureTrak is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required.
