CVA’s Building Service team is looking for an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Installation Supervisor to lead our wiring team. We are looking for someone who is going to be a boots on the ground supervisor, ready to support this great team!

A day in the life:

  • Perform the duties of a BAS Install Technician & provide general backup and support to BAS Foreman, BAS Installation Technicians, Apprentices, and Helpers
  • Assist sales staff with estimating new work including material and labor estimations for specific tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals to assist with estimates and to manage approved work
  • Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedules, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel with the assistance of Project Manager
  • Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job with Project Manager
  • Attend production meetings and provide feedback on job status’.
  • Teach, coach and provide direction to technicians, apprentices and helpers to work safely, deliver quality, and work productivity

You should have:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of products/systems of the BAS trade (or products) being used
  • Ability to adapt to both individual and teamwork environments
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess knowledge of current Building Codes and OSHA safety regulations
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner (i.e., work assignments, recruiting, customer relations, and asset management)
