Job Summary

The Field Supervisor will lead crews of 6+ field service technicians. You will fly and drive to job sites United States installing “wear” products, mainly ceramic and refractory type linings, in cement plants, power plants, grain companies etc. While in the field you may work 7 days a week with 12-hour days. When not traveling, you will work in the shop at our Liberty, MO facility. Jobs average 1-2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to team on jobs start to finish.
  • Organize and stage equipment and materials.
  • Document and keep track of daily time sheets, materials used.
  • Track expenses
  • Good communication with customers on job progress
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements.
  • Work in fabrication shop when not traveling.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (jobs average 1-2 weeks).
  • Someone who can multi-task and prioritize duties.
  • Have a Class E license or ability to obtain one.
  • Someone who can think outside the box when under time constraints.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge or Certification with the MSHA Part 48 safety program.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Rigging and/or welding experience a plus.
  • Must be comfortable with heights and confined spaces.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to bend over and stand for long periods of time.
  • This position requires standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to physically maneuver around equipment and projects.
  • Must complete a background check, drug test and physical.
