Job Title:           Sales & Account Representative

Position Summary

This role is responsible for safe, quality and timely sales of Company’s products and services to support business plan.  Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer expectations and maintaining relationships in a consultative fashion.

General Accountabilities

  • Responsible for using CRM to ensure accurate forecasting of sales volumes and product/sales delivery.
  • Ensure quality job flow from sales to production hand-off.
  • Responsible for ensuring customers’ needs are met in proactive and responsive manner.
  • Responsible to serve as technical/production resource to customers to bring added value.
  • Daily support of company’s safe work culture at all times including use of JHA’s, use of PPE and regular safety communication with employees and customers.
  • Ensure work areas and company vehicles remain clean and tidy.
  • Responsible for achieving territory sales volume and market share growth goals as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in sales role within a technical industry preferred. Mining industry knowledge a plus.
  • Strong ability to embrace company’s safety culture throughout office and field/customer sites required.
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and company’s CRM.
  • Proven ability to work self-directed and to execute on sales plans independently.
  • Ability to make decisions in an effective and timely manner to ensure delivery of customer expectations.
  • Ability to read blueprints, hand sketches and other means to assess what risk might be involved to ensure company is positioned to deliver on customer commitments.
  • Strong communication skills in verbal and written formats with fellow employees, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to represent company in professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including ability to travel to area/regional customer sites.
  • High attention to detail, listening skills, and critical thinking skills to ensure issues are resolved proactively prior to production of products.
  • Superior organizational and follow-through skills required including sales order files, drawings etc. are maintained in a consistent and organized manner.
