The Erosion Company (TEC) is currently hiring a Full Cycle Recruiter. TEC is the largest and most experienced contractor in providing comprehensive erosion control services, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up services to clients throughout the Southeast.
The qualified candidate will be based in our Charlotte office, just north of Woodford Green.
- Conduct cold calls and phone interviews.
- Screen candidates who possess the required qualifications and present them to operations managers for consideration.
- Ensure recruiting goals are achieved for each location assigned within the required time.
- Act as the recruiting liaison between Human Resources and local shops.
- Work closely with offsite operation managers to determine hiring needs, advertising campaigns, trends, and recruiting strategies.
- Research, identify, and establish business relationships with recruiting sources in local communities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for recruits throughout the interviewing process (i.e. communicate status, answer questions, coordinate follow-up efforts, hiring and onboarding process.
- Inform applicants of available positions in the organization through knowledge of local shop needs.
- Work through worklist and job duties in a fast-paced multitasking environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of three months to one year of related experience in recruiting process and reporting.
- Prior call center, phone sales, manufacturing, or construction recruiting experience preferred.
- Must have the confidence to speak with potential candidates and be comfortable generating candidate leads, cold calling, networking, and research to quickly qualify and assess their potential candidacy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word to produce a wide range of documents quickly and accurately, as well as using internet job databases.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Can-do attitude, be detail-oriented, and have the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Knowledge in sourcing and effective interview techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency, be self-driven, have leadership skills, be a team player, and strong relationship builder.
- Ability to effectively respond and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent project management, writing, organization, and oral communication skills are required.
- Ability to work in structures and a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with superior time management skills.
- Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and communicates clearly.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
