Salary:  $95,000 - $120,000
Location:  Seattle, Hybrid

SUMMARY 
This position supports the corporate HR Operations team with emphasis on strategic HR initiatives, compliance in HR operations and execution of the Federal Construction Contractors EEO and Affirmative Action programs in collaboration with the HR Operations team and HR & EEO Officer. Supports the alignment of HR operations in recruiting, benefits and HRIS with organizational goals and workforce development. Partners closely with the HR & EEO Officer, and corporate and operational leadership. Requires strong HRIS knowledge, project management and implementation skills. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following, additional duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for monitoring and developing HR operations processes for compliance with federal, state, and local laws, with emphasis on Federal Construction Contractor EEO and Affirmative Action regulations.
  • Subject matter expert for assigned HR programs and procedures.
  • Conducts research, assimilates best practices, develops, and monitors HR operations programs.
  • Operates across organization with high level of collaboration and advocacy.
  • Supports HRIS systems, and develops processes, procedures, implementations, and internal controls.
  • Develops and monitors custom HRIS reports and ensures data validation of HR reporting and metrics using PowerBi and other tools as necessary
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in HR operations efficiency and services.
  • Monitors and validates data and regulatory filings on HR operations processes for compliance.
  • Develops partnerships with managers and works to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations through procedures, resources, and training.
  • Leads the development and implementation of employee handbooks.
  • Provides technical guidance, compliance and support for recruiting, health benefits and retirement plans administration, and leave management operations and procedures.
  • Provides back-up support as needed to HR Operations team.
  • Ensures compliance with Manson’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
  • Maintains a high standard of ethical behavior, encourages ethical behavior in others, supports ethical decisions and actively seeks appropriate resolution to potential ethical conflicts.
  • Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment. 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred  
  • Experience with HRIS platform (CMIC, Arcoro and HRMS experience a plus).
  • Proficient in MS Suite/365, mid-advance use of Excel.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 
SPHR or SHRM-SCP, preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS 
Advance skills and proficient in use of MS Office Suite/365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Mid-to-advance level knowledge with HRIS systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 
Position is primarily an office position, performs work at a desk. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to ten pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
