COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate: $20-25 per hour DOE

 

SUMMARY

Kilgore Companies, a Summit Materials Company, is looking for a Quality Control Technician in our Aggregate division. This position will be responsible for testing aggregate materials for gradation and quality properties in accordance with test methods and specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sample and test aggregate materials 
  • Monitor materials daily to ensure our products meet the specified requirements 
  • Follow quality control plans and guidelines 
  • Obtain required quality control certifications in a timely manner 
  • Record and repot tests in quality control database 
  • Safely perform all work assigned  
  • Safely drive a company vehicle 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and anywhere within our work area 
  • Previous testing/quality experience highly desired
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required 
  • Able to read, comprehend, and communicate in English 
  • Excellent math skills are required
  • Strong computer skills are required
