Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Contract Specialist to join our team in Auburn, ME. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that all contractual agreements meet the corporate objectives, financial constraints, and regulatory mandates.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Review inspection contract language and related documents to confirm all relevant equipment
is listed correctly.
- Verify the scope of work and inspection contract amount is correct.
- Respond to questions internally and externally about contractual terms and requirements.
- Create, maintain, distribute, and organize inspection contract documents electronically and physically.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer database, including current contact information.
- Work with inspectors to provide service orders and other information as needed.
- Other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications/Education/Experience Preferences:
- High School Diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree in Business Administration, or familiarity with contracts would be a plus.
- Applicants for this position can have entry-level experience as training will be provided by the company, but any experience in a related field would be plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, and other e-signature platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work together with other team members.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office-based position that will be based in Auburn Maine and support both Auburn and Bangor
Maine branches.
- Office Environment – moderate noise
- The need to move about the office to copy, scan, and file
- Requires using the computer and phone consistently throughout the day
