Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Service Sales Rep/Estimator to our team in Bangor, ME. The Service Sales Representative/Estimator is responsible for driving sales and providing accurate cost estimates for service projects. This role combines customer engagement, technical expertise, and meticulous estimating to support and grow the company's service offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and estimating, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in obtaining information needed for each job such as, Purchase Order numbers, tax-exempt form, insurance certificates, deficiency information, and certified payroll information
- Follows up with customer on deficiencies or other quoted work.
- Books and creates jobs for awarded projects and service calls within the system.
- Preparation of job start up.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma/GED with Associate Degree preferred
- Prior industry experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 & 25 requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Good oral, written, telephone, and customer service skills.
- Good time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist both internal and external customers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and regulations.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills.
