Office Mail Operations Supervisor (Part-Time)

Schedule: 12 PM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday

The Office Mail Operations Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of Mail Processes in Glen Mills. Working closely with the Operations Manager, the Mailroom Supervisor will lead day-to-day on-site operations and SOPs.

This is an onsite position, based in our Glen Mills, PA office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow for incoming mail according to day-to-day mail pick up, volume and deadlines.
  • Manage workflow for new incoming mail projects / monthly outbound mail drops.
  • Lead communications with project teams regarding mailing return status.
  • Create and foster a professional atmosphere and team culture.
  • Maintain postage account reports.
  • Validate outgoing mail drops against postage account and notifying management of any discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory of all mailing supplies and equipment.
  • Pick up mail from the post office in accordance to standard operating procedures.
  • Modeling set SOP’s and ensuring that the department is in line with protocols on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining office cleanliness and organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-4+ years’ experience supervising in an office production /operations environment.
  • Ability to work on-site at the Glen Mills office 5 days per week.
  • Must have valid driver license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate practices and policies effectively in writing and orally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to adjust schedule to help reach departmental goals.
  • Knowledge of office processes, procedures, technology, and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to stand most of the day.
