Polk Mechanical Company is expanding in Dallas/Ft Worth through a reputation for high performance and outstanding service. Now 16 years old, the company is continuing to set new milestones, and as a result is, adding new staff and raising the expectations of its team. We are looking for a HVAC Service Field Supervisor who will execute hands-on leadership for our Dallas/Ft Worth Service Department.
Organization Structure and Interfaces:
Reports to: HVAC Service Manager
Primary Interfaces: Polk service employees at all levels
Environment:
- Multi-location: jobsite based business model
- Pace: constant changing targets and quick turnaround is essential due to shifting priorities, changing client needs and project specifications
- Demographic diversity: workforce enjoys a wide range of diversification associated with ethnicity, culture, position qualifications, socio-economic background, geographical differences, white & blue collar, etc.
Success Factors:
- Key functional experience needs to include the basics of: Training, coaching, and management of field service staff. Serving as a working supervisor and front line technical advisor to service technician and customers. Maintaining safety and productivity and ensures technicians are meeting customer requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adept at employee relations: Ideal candidate can handle the wear and tear of a fast-paced environment with an advanced sense of urgency while maintaining an employee-focused culture. Must be an active listener, servant leader, team-oriented, and demonstrate spatial intelligence in problem-solving and process implementation while providing exemplary customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Facilitate compliance and maintain culture focused on customer satisfaction: Ensures that our customer is viewed through the lens of not just one project, but a lifetime of projects. Ensure field technicians are doing whatever it takes to build a relationship based in confidence and success for our customers for life.
