In 1992, Pat Fuscoe founded Fuscoe Engineering—a civil engineering firm built on the principles of participative management, consensus building within teams, and sharing the rewards of successful work. Today, we are 100% employee owned with 190 employee-owners across 4 offices in southern California, and our services have expanded to include Survey and Mapping, Stormwater Management and Water Quality, and Geospatial Technology.
Our company culture emphasizes training and mentorship of all employees, and transparency and communication on the performance and growth of the firm.
We are seeking multiple Civil Engineer Interns with an interest in land development. Land development is one of the very first steps in the civil engineering process when developing infrastructure. Our work consists of creating site layouts, grading and drainage plans, underground utility plans, water quality plans, and much more!
As a Civil Engineer Intern at Fuscoe:
- You will receive extensive training in AutoCAD. Previous interns have shared they've learned more in 1 week of our CAD training than a semester in college!
- You will have the opportunity to learn all the different aspects that go into our projects and receive hands-on training and tasks from our civil engineers.
- You will have the opportunity to visit construction sites and see our work in real life.
- You will learn how to "think like an engineer" and work collaboratively with other Summer Interns.
- You will meet with other departments to learn how they support our engineers and the company as a whole.
