Job Title – Project Safety Manager - International
Location – Various International locations
Typical projects are $100 - $225M in value and involve a commitment of 2-4 years.

What You Will Do
- Plans, implements and supervises project safety and ensures that site specific accident and fire protection programs are in compliance with the Caddell Corporate Safety Program and the contract requirements on the assigned project.
- Consults with the Safety Director - International and Project Management to develop safe work plans for all project phases and crew tasks.
- Ensures project team complies with safety related regulations applicable to project.
- Conducts thorough daily safety inspections of all active work areas and documents these inspections.
- Consults with field staff on safety issues, policies, procedures and regulations.
- Conducts initial field safety new hire orientation sessions.
- Monitors housekeeping practices to ensure clean and safe environment.
- Serves as construction safety liaison with owner, subcontractors, and other outside entities.
- Prepares and submits all required safety-related reports.
- Conducts post-accident and property damage investigations.
- Performs additional assignments per Project Manager or Safety Director – International’s direction.
- Working Conditions – Construction setting, travel required, full time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Minimum high school diploma/GED and five years’ experience in the safety management required.
Education / Experience – Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Must have a working knowledge of Caddell’s Corporate Safety Program. Working knowledge of applicable OSHA or Corps of Engineers EM385-1-1. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate professionally with Client representatives, project team members, and multinational employees. Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
Certifications, Licenses, etc.: - (Should be able to submit certifications upon request and obtain a medical clearance before deployment) Current clearance, or the ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required. U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required. OSHA 30-hour, Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certificate, First Aid/CPR, Competent Persons Training.
