Day-To-Day
- Responsible for the management of functional operation of the residential program in accordance with VOA Texas and FBOP policies and procedures
- Manages the Re-Entry Monitors and Client monitoring.
- Assigns shift duties to Residential Re-Entry
- Maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift.
- Monitors client movements inside and outside the facility.
- Controls contraband in facility through general observation, facility searches, and client searches
- Observes client behavior and reports to the Lead RRM or supervisor in a timely manner any situations that are irregular or exceptional.
- Has responsibility for client care, in compliance with standards of ethics of
- Responsible for the oversight of medication procedures to ensure audits are accurate and medication is being taken as prescribed.
- Responsible for oversight of the urinalysis/breathalyzer procedures and search procedures (client, vehicle, and facility), to ensure compliance per contractual agreement.
- Supervises residents in observance of house rules, as well as Policies and Procedures of Volunteers of America Texas and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
- Provides support to clients and serves in the on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 2 years’ experience in working in a correctional or halfway house facility.
- Requires a demonstrated ability in record keeping and ability to monitor to residents and use positive discipline methods.
- Valid Texas Driver License, clear MVR and the ability to be insured.
