The Sr. Sales Representative will execute Landmark’s sales strategy in alignment with Composite Elevated Tank (CET) divisional goals by securing new project endeavors in the CET market.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead bid process through collaboration with sales personnel, division direction, Estimating, Engineering, and other internal departments.
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of ongoing market analysis of project opportunities.
  • Engage potential client and technical representation through discussions related to response qualifications in efforts to influence bid qualifications for highest levels of quality and strongest history of performance by contractors.
  • Review and approve responses to market solicitations.
  • Actively participate in the development and improvement of organizational Sales strategy, methods, and tools.
  • Analyze performance data developing sales strategies for market changes.
  • Analyze statistical data reports representative of sales efforts to ensure efficiency of sales activities.  
  • Develop and build relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Ongoing scanning of market to forecast client and competition activity as a means of maintaining Landmark’s position in the Elevated Water Storage market.
  • Ensure individual sales activities are in alignment with Business Development and CET divisional goals and strategy.
  • Develop junior sales staff to enhance succession and sales strengths.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role for an engineering and construction organization.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of engineering and construction as they relate to sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
