A Typical Work Day May Include:

Oversee the billing and processing of pet licenses, water, sewer, and stormwater services and miscellaneous fees.
Manage, plan, organize, supervise, schedule, assign work, and provide leadership to staff.
Provide training and professional development opportunities to staff.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedure manuals for all direct reports.
Prepare statistics required for completion of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) related annual financial reports and the accompanying external audit.
Greet visitors and provide assistance, including answering public inquiries regarding department functions.
Establish and maintain customer service standards for customer service operations.
Analyze and troubleshoot difficult situations, including customer disputes and inquiries.

What You Will Need:
One to three years supervisory experience.
Kansas identification card or valid Kansas driver’s license. 

What Will Put You Ahead:
Bachelor degree.
Two or more years’ experience working with utility billing accounts.
Ability to train and supervise subordinates.
