Job Title – Electrical Superintendent - International
Location – Various International location

What You Will Do
- Manages field operations specifically relating to electrical systems (high and low voltage, telecommunications, fire alarms, data, building automation controls, security systems and generators) in order to achieve a satisfactory, orderly level of production by crafts and subcontractors. Enforces all relevant safety and quality control policies and procedures in assigned area. Ensures that work meets the owner’s expectations, produces satisfactory profits, meets time limitations and contractualWorks closely with Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Quality Control Manager and Home Office Mechanical Procurement coordinator as required, in formulating, discussing and finalizing the overall plan of operations, job layout, job schedule, etc.
- Manages the day-to-day work of crafts and subcontractors in field, delegates work through foreman and/or subcontractor representatives. Must work with subcontractors of different cultures and languages.
- Maintains regular communications with project staff to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
- Reviews plans and specifications of job, job budget and estimate with project manager and project superintendent to ensure that quantities, values, manpower requirements and deliveries of various divisions of job are understood.
- Participates in weekly progress meetings with subcontractors.
- Assists in preparation of plan at beginning of job, for receiving, storing and handling materials as required.
- Assists in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required.
- Maintains best possible relationship with owner and architectural-engineering firm associated with job. Strives to develop spirit of cooperation and respect between Caddell and representatives of the other partners on the project.
- Performs additional assignments per project manager’s and project superintendent’s direction.
- Performs quantity surveys and estimates based on project plans and specifications for plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Working Conditions– Construction setting, travel required, full time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.

Education / Experience - Minimum high school diploma/GED and 15 years total construction management experience (with at least five years design/build experience with electrical systems) required. Four-year degree in building science, construction management or engineering and 10 years total construction management experience (with at least five years design/build experience with electrical systems) preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, etc.: - (Should be able to submit certifications upon request and obtain a medical clearance before deployment) Current clearance, or the ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required. U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required.
