Position Overview:
The Receptionist (Bilingual: English/Spanish) is the first point of contact for clients, partners, and visitors, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming and professional experience that reflects Coastline Equipment’s commitment to excellence. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting with administrative tasks, and providing outstanding customer service in both English and Spanish. As a vital part of the administrative team, the Receptionist ensures smooth communication and contributes to an organized and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Bilingual Communication: Provide clear and effective communication in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility and understanding for all clients and team members.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and other administrative duties to support daily operations.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address customer inquiries promptly and accurately, fostering positive relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Office Coordination: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, manage mail and deliveries, and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment such as multi-line phone systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Knowledge of construction, equipment, or related industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Work Environment:
- This position is office-based, working at the front desk of one of our Coastline Equipment locations.
- Occasional coordination with other departments or branches may be required to ensure seamless operations.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to the Office Manager.
- Collaborates with the administrative team and other departments to support overall business operations.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
