We are searching for our next Delivery Driver who has a current CDL. This person will assist our Equipment Division with deliveries, complete needed tasks, and help ensure that things run safely and efficiently at our Equipment Yard and on our Projects.
Wage is $30+ and hour – YOU MUST HAVE CURRENT CDL!
You will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading tools and light equipment into trucks for delivery.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted frequently throughout the day.
- Driving - could be 10 hours/week to 40 hours/week.
- Properly loading, tying down, delivering, and unloading heavy equipment and materials.
- Making delivery runs to multiple jobsites.
- Assisting with cleanup of shop and equipment yard.
- Adhering to company safety policies and procedures and keeping current with OSHA and safety training requirements.
- Assisting with problem solving.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a class A CDL (required), equipment hauling experience is a plus, along with a fairly clean driving record.
- Possess a High School degree or equivalent with an ability to read, write, and perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at the 12th grade level.
- Possess, or be able to obtain forklift and boom lift certifications.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing in conversational English.
- Possess knowledge of construction equipment and tools.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Demonstrate an ability to work with people and maintain a strong customer focus.
- Possess the ability to self-start and self-manage a workload, while also demonstrating the ability to work in a team environment.
