Job Summary: RAM Enterprise, Inc. is a fast-paced, high energy, rapidly growing provider of quality products and services to the bulk materials handling and industrial construction industries in multiple states. RAM Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a proactive and organized IT and Office Administrator to support our Corporate Office operations and company-wide IT needs. This role is integral to ensuring smooth office management while addressing technical issues efficiently.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Corporate IT Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety:

  • Promote safety as the company’s number one priority
  • Support, promote, and participate in the SPADE (Safe People Always Determine Excellence) program

 

IT Support:         

  • Serve as an IT support person for minor technical issues, ensuring timely assistance to end-users.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to the IT Manager for resolution.
  • Assist with computer inventory management, including tracking and maintaining equipment records.
  • Manage mobile inventory and device management, ensuring proper deployment and updates.
  • Support hardware setup for new users, upgrades, and device reassignments, ensuring functionality and alignment with user needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Zoom device issues to maintain seamless meeting experiences.

 

Office Administrator:

  • Must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and company information.
  • Collect and distribute confidential documents with the utmost discretion and care.
  • Act as a contact between the internal and external clients.
  • Welcome all guests and visitors to the office, ensuring a positive first impression and providing direction or assistance as needed.
  • Prepare meeting rooms for important guests, ensuring all necessary equipment and amenities are set up.

 

Office Management:

  • Answering phones and handle incoming phone calls, transferring them to the appropriate team members and taking messages when necessary.
  • Opening and distributing mail, office equipment troubleshooting, ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Communicating with cleaning staff, organizing/decorating shared spaces and breakrooms seasonally and as needed.
  • Tidying up communal areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Ensure front office plants are cared for and office aesthetics are maintained.
  • Locking doors at the end of the workday and securing the office premises.

 

Events:

  • Assist with event planning and setup for meetings, conferences, or special occasions as needed. Coordinating on/offsite meetings, events, and community involvement.
  • Support Marketing by maintaining brochure racks with an up-to-date supply, distribute materials and products as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • 1-3 years previous administrative assistant experience
  • High school degree required, some college preferred
  • Explementary planning and time management skills. Must be organized and detail oriented with analytical ability
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, while prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines
  • Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge, with experience supporting hardware, software, or device management preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies (e.g., chatbots, productivity applications, or automation software) is a plus. A willingness to learn and adapt to emerging AI solutions is highly valued.
  • Proactive team player with a flexible and open attitude.
  • Professional level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand, read, and write the English language.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Ability to comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.

 

Work Environment:

  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
  • Regular office environment expectations - Sitting at least 80%. Standing, walking, and bending at least 10%.
