Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Woburn, MA. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to support planning, execution, and completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, and work tasks.
- Track project progress and ensure all milestones are met according to the timeline.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and up-to-date.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure the project remains within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or a related role.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing short and long-term projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
