As a Tax Reviewer, you’ll elevate our team’s performance by reviewing tax returns, providing expert guidance, and ensuring top-notch service. You’ll also coach both clients and colleagues in tax matters, making a genuine impact on everyone you work with.

What you do!

Manage and review client tax deliverables (70%)
You’re an A-Player who thrives on achieving accuracy and delivering results. Your mission is to help complete returns on time, maintain high quality, and ensure clients truly understand their tax outcomes. This includes:
•    Embody a fun, positive attitude with clients and teammates.
•    Prepare and review Federal, State, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
•    Analyze financials, ensure compliance with tax laws, and determine taxes owed.
•    Advise clients and mentor staff on reducing tax liabilities and staying proactive.
•    Represent clients before the IRS when necessary.
•    Offer real-time feedback to team members, driving continuous improvement.
•    Meet directly with clients to review results and explore future strategies.
•    Keep everyone informed of tax law changes that matter.

Own Communication and Accountability (20%)
Be hands-on, self-reliant, and detail-focused. You’ll use tools and tech to stay on top of deadlines and keep communication flowing, including:
•    Utilize calendars, task management tools, and time tracking software to stay organized.
•    Communicate effectively—by voice, text, or email—using respectful, professional language.
•    Collaborate closely with leadership to keep clients and the team aligned.
•    Present information clearly, solve problems with reliable data, and draw solid conclusions.

Grow Yourself and the Team (10%)
Never stop learning! You’ll:
•    Join weekly trainings and share insights.
•    Attend company-wide educational events.
•    Leverage internal and external resources to become a go-to expert.
•    Embrace new challenges and duties as they arise.
Your Impact
•    Deliver client tax returns on time with outstanding quality.
•    Own client deadlines and request help early if needed.
•    Engage in continuous improvement and stay current with industry trends.
•    Align monthly billing with the value you provide, ensuring timely collection.
What You Bring
•    CPA or EA preferred, with 5+ years of hands-on tax experience.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Intuit ProConnect, and accounting tools like QuickBooks.
•    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
•    Clear communication, customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a team.

•    Competitive pay $70K–$90K DOE, with performance-based raises in the first year.
•    $150 per paycheck mileage reimbursement.
