What You’ll Do:

🌐 Talent Whisperer: Administer full cycle recruitment strategies, spearheading efforts to attract premier talent to McGough. Responsibilities include meticulous management of candidate information, adept screening process, and effective candidate communication strategies.

🎯Federal Hiring Expert: Manage full-cycle recruitment for federal contractor roles, ensuring compliance with OFCCP and EEO guidelines. Track compliance metrics and identify strategies to cultivate a diverse pool of candidates.

💡Strategic Partner: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Managers to develop and execute workforce pipeline strategies.  Your strategic mindset will shape the future of our workforce.

🤝Relationship Guru: Build relationships with prospective talent, internal champions, external networks, higher education institutions, and search firms to ensure a seamless and positive recruitment experience.

🚀Intern Specialist: Collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition team to support leaders across the organization in sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and coordination of interviews for internships.  Additionally, assists the Director of TA in planning events and developing program content to bolster the internship program.

Qualifications We’re Seeking:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on federal recruitment and compliance with OFCCP regulations
  • 2+ years of experience with in hiring for federal contractors and best practices in hiring following EEO and OFCCP guidelines
  • Previous experience in maintaining and reporting compliance metrics for OFCCP requirements
  • Ability to strategize and build diverse recruitment pipelines and/or hiring programs
  • Commitment to advancing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) priorities within the organization
  • Stellar interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to think critically and problem-solve
  • Knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and recruit for various positions while meeting deadlines
  • A knack for building rapport and offering effective guidance across all organizational levels
  • Comfort handling confidential data with the utmost discretion
  • Skill in addressing concerns professionally and adeptly managing conflicts
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a hunger for continual learning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and strong computer skills
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, LI Recruiter, job boards and social media platforms

Preferred:

  • Background in hiring within the construction industry
  • Established network connections in construction, unions, and community organizations nationwide

Office & Travel:

This position offers a hybrid setup, allowing for remote work flexibility 2-3 days per week after training.  Our primary office location is in St. Paul, MN, with occasional travel to regional offices and HR talent acquisition events.

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time at employee’s workstation and during meetings as well as while traveling, either by plane or car.
