Your Role at Acousti

As a Corporate Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the processing of invoices and payments for the company from the corporate office. This role ensures timely and accurate payments, maintains vendor relationships, and supports the overall financial operations.

In this role, you will contribute directly to the success of our company by ensuring efficient operations and delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our dynamic team and play a key part in supporting our day-to-day operations, ensuring our high standards are maintained

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Verify, review, and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and issues, maintaining vendor account information for accuracy
  • Prepare and distribute accounts payable checks and manage electronic payments
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations, including the preparation and filing of 1099 forms
  • Generate and analyze accounts payable reports for management review
  • Assist with month-end closing and year-end audit processes
  • Coordinate with field AP team members and provide feedback towards process improvements
  • Support ERP conversion to Sage Intacct

What We’re Looking for in You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of previous experience in accounts payable
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills (assessment required)
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks

Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with:

  • Construction experience
  • Accounting tools: Sage Intacct/Titanium or similar

Education Requirements

  • Required: An Associate in  Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
