We are currently seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis!
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, analyzing performance, and supporting decision-making across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to shape our company's financial future while contributing to optimizing our property portfolio’s performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls, develop accounting policies, and ensure compliance with finance, accounting, taxation, and auditing procedures;
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including coordination with operational teams and senior management.
- Develop rolling forecasts and multi-year financial plans to align with company goals.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
- Perform variance analyses to compare actual results to budgets and forecasts.
- Partner with senior leadership to evaluate new investment opportunities, property acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare financial models and scenario analyses for major projects and strategic decisions.
- Develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track progress against objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in FP&A to support scalability and alignment with business needs.
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Work closely with property managers, operations teams, and other departments to ensure financial alignment.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CAIA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within property management, real estate, or a related industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite application and other relevant software
- Excellent project management skills and evidenced ability to take initiative in the area(s) of focus to develop and execute a project plan from conception through implementation and evaluation.
- Driven: a quick study with an internal drive to make a difference in a high-growth organization – a self-starter that requires minimal direction.

Compensation: Full- Time $125,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
