We are looking for an experienced, organized, and meticulous Accountant to work closely with our accounts payable team to support the growth of the business.

 The Accountant position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Month-end Close.
  • Preparing Journal Entries.
  • Month-end financial analysis and reporting.
  • Job cost review and analysis.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Create and maintain annual budgets.
  • Assist in developing additional KPIs, and maintain reporting.
  • Work with our team to review and develop processes and procedures.
  • Provide feedback and ideas to improve the business.

What You Need for the Position

  • 5 years experience in construction accounting, to include financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, spreadsheet creation, account reconciliations and payroll
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • The ability to create and maintain procedures and follow up systems.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of IFS is helpful, but not required.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • A 4 year degree in Accounting is required.
