Job Summary:
The Application Service Support Specialist will partner with other members of the application team to support internal and external customers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support service and training related activities for application equipment within Van Wall for a variety of customers and team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform machine services for both internal and external customers
-Complete winterizations for application equipment onsite or at Van Wall store locations
-Assist with machine or parts deliveries for the sales, service, applications, or parts departments
-Partner with other technicians or service personnel as needed to perform repairs
-Maintain shop, store, and workspace cleanliness up to company standard
-Provide assistance with training for customers and internal team members as needed
-Maintain records and account for all time, parts, and supplies used in repairing and servicing both customer and dealership equipment.
-Participate in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
-Help the dealership by participating in special programs, such as sales of service packages, demonstration programs, customer field days, etc.
-Assist in other areas of the service department on an as needed basis
Position Qualifications
-General knowledge of agricultural equipment operation required
-Knowledge of mechanical systems for heavy machinery strongly preferred
-Good driving record, with the ability to be insurable under company’s driving insurance
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Ability to work collaboratively or independently
